Get Er Sewn Up Party!
A few months ago, Mossy Cottage Ryan was going through a particularly rough patch. We put out the call for afghan squares, and now we've got them--a lovely, lively pile of squares!
A lovely, BIG, INTIMIDATING pile. Unfortunately, they won't just SNAP together. So, what's a knitter to do?
Have a party!
Saturday, October 11th. At my house in Seattle. From 1 to 5 in the afternoon--one hour or all four, your call!
Bring a nibblie or something to drink, your darning needle, and a good attitude. Leave a comment if you'd like to come--I'll email you the directions. You don't need to be "good at seaming" to take part--it's truly the thought that counts.

I wish I could but I'll be working that day. Good luck.

I I can make it. Plus I have another square I never sent to you.

That's supposed to say I think I can make it, but something didn't like my attempt at formatting.

I remember the St. Patrick's Day gathering you hosted a year or so ago---it was a blast! So I plan to sail in on your Partee, and mangle a few squares in the process. What fun!

Ooh. Laying a project like that out is one of the things I most love to do. Alas, too far. Are you done with this year's round of editing?

Let me know if you're 1 square short anywhere as I have a square that didn't make it on time and I thought the deadline was set in stone... If it helps, it's hot pink & light purple entrelac. I'm going out for a bachelorette party Saturday and don't think that heavy boozing and trying to seam a blanket for someone else are a good mix. Hope you guys have a fun time at it! -Diana

Hi Janine:
Sorry for the late reply -- Rebecca and I would really like to help out putting the afghan together on Saturday. Please let me know if you have need for additional people to help out, and if yes, what we’ll need to bring if anything.
