Making progress on Starry Night.
For years now we've planned to get patio furniture--and by "years," I mean 17 years! But we never think about it until the sales are done and the snow blowers have arrived in the hardware stores. This year, I suddenly happened upon the perfect table (on sale!) for our small patio--but only 1 chair. Wait--there were 6 still available at one other East Bay store. We were there at the break of day, hoping that no undeserving shopper had snapped them up before us. Slowly, slowly we are turning our backyard into a refuge.
Happy Fourth of July!

Good lord, I LOVE Starry Night. Yours, yes? Zowie. Also love the furniture. Look forward to planting my butt in one of those chairs hopefully soon. Happy Fourth!

Love the sweater! Great interpretation of the painting. Do you find that getting the fun part (the multicolored yoke) done first makes the rest of the sweater "boring?" I've never knit a top-down multi-colored sweater like that before (except for my boys) and I think I'd rather have the fun yoke to look forward to!
I, too, am awaiting patio furniture, except mine is all-weather "wicker." I've had a covered screened-in patio for 6 summers now, and we're finally getting furniture so we can enjoy it!
(I'm looking forward to reading and knitting while watching the birds and chipmunks....)

I stumbled upon your site when searching for "starry night yoke". I love the night sky and yoke sweaters. Your sweater looks very cool. Will only the people coming to your workshop be able to enjoy this pattern?
