I just linked to you in my FB status ;-)

Brilliant!

I wonder if it would work just as well to weave in the long floats kaffe fassett-style. That way you can knit from the right side and see what the right side looks like while avoiding long floats. Also you keep the elasticity.

Corporate regulation and reversal of Citizens United are tops for me, too. Those are the kind of concrete agenda items that I think the Occupy movements would do well at this juncture to start working for. Thanks for making your hat pattern available!

ah!! thank you!! i finally have a way to support the ows folks without leaving my family behind! when i drive by, i honk, but now i can drop off a hat or two!! it's getting chilly out there. thank you, thank you!!!

I agree with all of those things, and would include a reversal of the corporate personhood ruling (even if we have to go back to Santa Clara County v. Southern Pacific Railroad Company, 118 U.S. 394 (1886).

p.s. I love the hat!

So Freaking COOOOOOOOL!!!!

Genius. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing this, Janine! A high school friend of mine has been to the Seattle 99% site daily since the beginning - I think I must knit him this hat!

GETTUM Janine! Ever onward...love. Meg

Yes! I love this!

love the hat and just shared it on FB!

If this were Ravelry, I'd click love(1)! Consider yourself clicked :).

Thank you for the great pattern - I just finished mine and I'm wearing it. So far I've gotten encouraging comments. I want to make more and give to family and friends. Thank you!

My Faded Splendor Tam was perfect until I put it over the 11" plate. To get the tam over the plate the band was stretched and is now and too big to wear. Maybe my technique was wrong. If I soak it again will the band return? Are there any other remedies? Help!
