Well, I love the new colorway!

This is a truly fascinating process. Amazing. Have you noticed the high visiblity of Fair Isle and other knitted color work in the catalogs this year? Check out the recent Sundance catalogue. You are clearly ahead of the curve!

Wow, that is amazing. I frequently want to re-color a design because I love the patterns but there are one or two colors in there that I just dislike. I did this with Autumn Rose, and you're right, it's time consuming!

As an aside, the spammer above me was extremely clever in a way I haven't seen before, using a snip of your post as the body of the comment to avoid being caught by filters...Dastardly stinker!

Cool post! I've been trying to come up with the "right" colors for Hillswick Lumber Cardigan in Jameison (instead of J&S) and I'm finding it near to impossible even with color conversion charts! Not all of the conversion charts convert to the same colors and I have a better understanding of what's going on now. Thanks for the great insight!

Wow. So interesting!

This is such an informative article, thank you so much for posting it! I'm adding it to my list of recommended references =)

I learned a lot from this post. I have been stumped trying to design a colorway for a Fair Isle for a while . I'll go ahead with the project with new ideas after the holiday push is over.
