So, in a few hours I am heading off to Interweave Knitting Lab in San Mateo!!! I'm looking forward to teaching and shopping and meeting new people and seeing old friends.
Of course, I'm not packed.
Oh, the handouts are printed and the samples packed up. The professional stuff is taken care of.
It's my clothing that's a problem. Seriously, I need to dash off to buy some long-sleeved T's because the change in weather has caught me off guard. Plus, laundry is still in the washing machine. And: Is it too late to lose 40 pounds?
But I don't have time to deal with that noise, no, sir! So what if I look like a total mess during the entire event.
What I'm caught up in now is choosing some easy knitting to take with me. Sigh.
Hundreds of UFOs and nothing to knit....
Oh my, I think we're TWINS!! Have fun at Knitting Lab! Maybe I'll catch up with you on Sunday or so...

Throw a beautiful hand knit something over any old clothes and you'll be a hit, no matter what's underneath.
