I'm heading home today.
I may have already written a falsehood--it is quite likely that I will not finish this post before I pack up, in which case I will be writing from home about my travels.
I'm itching to head out, but so reluctant to leave. No matter how much I burrow into my life in California, the Pacific Northwest is my home at the deepest level.
Of course, it's not raining at the moment. Easy to forget the endless gray days of winter.
You know what? I'm putting on my shoes, packing up the car, and heading out, even though it's still dark out here in Tacoma at 5:45 in the morning....
Tomorrow, when I get home, I'll choose the winner of the free copy of Medieval-Inspired Knits! It will be nice to sit at my desk and fill you in on all my experiences at Madrona Fiber Arts Retreat and the Visionary Authors Retreat.
Until then!

Safe journey! Can't wait to hear about the latest goings-on.

Have a safe trip home. Thank you for such a wonderful class at Madrona....I am still swatching for the tam, but have I ever learned a lot about color value! Looking forward to seeing you again in May at Suzanne's. PS. I'll bring the finished tam with me to show to you.
